Conference “Business opportunities with Ukraine”
On April 17, the Conference on Ukraine will take place at the headquarters of the Confederation of Businessmen of Galicia (CEG), organized by the CEG and the Embassy of Ukraine in Spain, with the collaboration of the Europeans with Ukraine Foundation.
This event will have the participation of the Ambassador of Ukraine in Spain, His Excellency. Mr. Serhii Pohoreltsev, and is intended to explore the possibilities of commercial exchanges between both areas, in the current scenario, and analyze the prospects for future collaboration.
The objective is to know first-hand the economic, commercial and financial reality of the country, after more than two years at war, and to show the commitment and support of Spain and Galicia in the reconstruction of the country, reinforcing collaboration between both areas to foster economic recovery.
Galician companies will have a relevant role in this reconstruction. For this reason, we would like to analyze with you the opportunities for commercial relationships and put our talent and experience at the service of Ukraine in key sectors for the country’s recovery, such as infrastructure, transportation or renewable energies, among others. More precisely, they have specific interests in: vehicle armoring, construction, medical supplies, telecommunications and the agri-food sector.
In addition, we will have interventions from Ukrainian companies, via telematic means from Ukraine, to present the strategic sectors and specific opportunities, in fields such as the Ukrainian grain market, or information technologies.
After the completion of these interventions, a discussion will be held with the attendees.
Likewise, the president of the Europeans with Ukraine Foundation, Mr. Antonio Javier Corredoira Alfonso, will talk to us about the solidarity projects that the Foundation is carrying out from Galicia.
