Next Wednesday, October 23rd, the Galician Confederation of Employers (CEG) will hold the Training Workshop on Multilateral Tenders: “Why you win and why you lose a Project?” organized by the International Tenders Service SALT of the CEG in collaboration with Instituto Galego de Promoción Económica (IGAPE) and Scadi Global Consulting Enterprise, S.L. (SCADI), a consulting firm specialized in facilitating the participation of national and international companies in procurement processes and international tenders, with a particular focus on UN procurement systems.

This eminently practical workshop (in person and online) is aimed at all those companies of the Galician business network interested in being successful in multilateral calls for proposals.

The content of the workshop includes:

  • Introduction to international bidding processes. Who is who in the multilateral market.
  • Types of bids, differences between them and criteria for evaluating proposals (with real examples).
  • How and where to target business opportunities: online tools. Real-time use of procurement platforms and how to make the most of the information.
  • Introduction to the new platform/ERP of UNDP and its partner agencies: QUANTUM.
  • Supplier registration in the United Nations UNGM portal.
  • Why a project is won and why it is lost: key success points and common mistakes.
  • Case study: preparation of an Expression of Interest (EOI).

Additional benefits for participants:

  • Once the workshop has concluded, the speakers will be at the disposal of the companies that wish a specific face-to-face interaction, organizing a small agenda of coaching in this sense.
