Registration and access to opportunities in the United Nations Global Marketplace

This time we bring you a brief detailed guide on how to register a company in the United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM), the official platform for connecting suppliers with UN agencies. The process is broken down into the following steps:

1. Account Creation and Activation

Visit UNGM.org and select “Login and New Registrations.” Fill in the requested information, including the name of your company as it appears on the legal documents. After registration, you will receive an activation link in your email. If you do not see it, check your spam folder or request a resend. Once the account is activated, proceed with the full registration.

2. Registration Form

Complete the form divided into six key sections:

  • General Information: Basic information about your company, including the legal name and license number.
  • Address: Provide the official location of your business.
  • Type of Registration: Define whether your company will operate nationally or internationally.
  • Contacts: Add contact details and optionally invite colleagues to manage the account.
  • Coding: Categorize your products or services using the UNSPSC system.
  • Declaration of Eligibility: Accept the terms and verify the information provided.

Important after completing each is to click save before moving forward.

3. Managing Tender Submissions

In the “Manage Agency Submissions” section, check which UN agencies your profile is associated with. You can adjust your preferences and opt for additional levels of registration (level 1 and 2) for larger contracts. Some agencies require additional forms for these categories.

4. Accessing Business Opportunities

From the main dashboard, access tenders using the “Tender Notices” section. Filter by organization, UNSPSC codes or dates. Some tenders require prior interest expressed using an “Express Interest” button.

5. Monitoring and Registration Levels

Manage your registration status from the Dashboard, where you can check your UNGM number, and the registration level achieved. For specific tenders, make sure you meet the level required by the agency.

We also provide an explanatory video that will guide you through the platform in a more visual way.
