Peru hosts the most important Public-Private Partnership event in Latin America and the Caribbean

The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), together with the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Peru (MEF) and ProInversión, will organize the 12th edition of PPP Americas 2025, the most important event on public-private partnerships (PPPs) in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Event Details

The summit will be held in Lima on April 8 and 9, 2025, and will bring together more than 600 government leaders, investors, and experts from 25 countries in Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe, and Asia. Senior representatives from the IDB and IDB Invest, the bank’s private sector division, will also attend.

Participants will analyze challenges and opportunities in PPP development, with the goal of closing infrastructure gaps and improving public services through collaboration with the private sector. Well-structured PPPs have been proven to optimize public resources and generate efficient infrastructure with a positive impact on society.

Key topics to be discussed include:

  • Digital transformation
  • Mobilizing financing
  • Attracting private investment
  • Innovation for sustainable impact
  • Continuous evaluation and improvement

PPP Americas is a biannual forum. At its most recent edition in 2023 in Panama, more than 400 projects in different stages of development were identified, with investment opportunities close to $120 billion.

This event positions Peru as a regional benchmark for promoting PPPs and attracting strategic investment.
