ICEX Spain, together with the Economic and Commercial Office of the Spanish Embassy in Abidjan and in collaboration with the African Development Bank (AfDB), is organizing a direct mission of Spanish companies to the 60^th Annual Meeting and Business Opportunities Seminar of the African Development Bank (AfDB), to be held at the Bank’s headquarters in Abidjan from May 26-30, 2025.

The African Development Bank Group (AfDB) Annual Meeting is consolidating its position as a strategic platform for Spanish companies looking to explore new business and investment opportunities in Africa. Under the theme “Making Africa’s Capital Work Better for Africa’s Development”, the event will address key topics such as just energy transition, digital transformation and regional integration.

As a complement to the content program offered by the Bank, ICEX offers the following activities:

Wednesday, May 28^th

• In-house session exclusively for participating Spanish companies.
• Networking event at the Spanish Ambassador’s Residence in Côte d’Ivoire.

Thursday, May 29th

• Informal lunch with Spanish representatives at the AfDB.
• Specialized accompaniment throughout the program to Spanish companies.
